I feel an idiot as a colleague has just gone off to microwave lunch IN THE FOIL CONTAINER IT CAME IN - apparently this is now ok. I feel old and stupid.
Anyone care to share anything else with me to stop me feeling stupid in future situations?

I have recently started working at a tech company. The young ‘uns were laughing their heads off when I was typing www into the search bar. Apparently you haven’t done that “since like forever”

Why on earth would bless you after a sneeze offend anyone? The plague reference? The implicit reference to a (but not one specific) god? Most people say "ble-shoe" anyway

I thought not saying bless you was some weird etiquette thing not about anyone being offended - there's the same weird etiquette thing with saying Gesundheit in German - It's out of fashion or something, but it's not about political correctness.

I learned some German grammar from my 12 year old when he proofread a report I was writing and explained my errors to me
