The housing association refused us a house 🏡. We pay all our own rent/council tax never been in arrears. Want a house due to my health problems the main one insomnia. I "feel we are the butt of someone who works in the local office" to much to put on here but at our pension age they are treating us very unfairly. Anyone can anyone help please

You cannot get what you want by stating your medical condition(s). Just because you have health problems, this and that, doesn't automatically entitle you to a council house. Lots of people have disabilities and still have to pay their mortgage/rent in private accommodations. You are not eligible so you will just have to go private or via a lettings agency.

YABU 2 bed social housing are prioritised for people who really need them: family with kids. Having insomnia and not wanting to disturb your partner is not really a priority.
