Not to get the point of an ipad

If you’ve got an iPhone. Is it really worth having?

(Context- DS wants one for Christmas. He has an iPhone. The iPad is within my budget but I’ve never had one myself and don’t really get the point. iPad fans, educate me!)

I wouldn't be without my iPad! When they first came out I was very sceptical, and waited a couple of years to get one. I'm now on my second. I use it every day (I don't have a laptop which might make a different) and love the battery life, portability, ability to attach a keyboard and use it to take notes for work rather than lugging a massive laptop around etc. I used my phone to make calls and check social media and that's it. I use my iPad for everything else. (I have the Kindle app on it too so can read books... watch films in the bath as others have said, pop it on the side in the kitchen while I'm cooking etc etc.)

So handy for when you want to research something eg a hotel, look at flights etc. Easier than doing on phone.

Mine is fantastic for work - word docs, workgroups, pdfs, internet. I also use it as a kindle and for general internet. The screen is fantastic quality for watching films. But if it's just for entertainment a kindle fire works fine.

I have both , I use my iPad all the time ( now for example ) and my iPhone for phone calls and the occasional check on Facebook or messaging when I’m not at home
But , I’m old and can’t read the screen on my iPhone

24 weeks. Shit hair. Dry itchy skin with lots of tiny red spots on my face. Lots of small white heads all over chest area. And cellulite and thread veins EVERYWHERE! No glow here either. I'm more tired than ever too 😫
