It's raining, heavily. Been raining for an hour. We're hungry but can't leave verandah because of the sodding rain. It's impressive but we're starving. Are we being unreasonable to wish it would hold up? (lighthearted)

Just walk through the rain. If you’re in a rainforest then it’s hot - you will easily be able to get dry.

Rains cooled it right down we already have a load of clothes wet from rapids shooting trip. Running out of dry stuff.

No baboons arses crustycrab but some other monkeys the name of which has left my menopausal brain. Some snakes and some fuck off big beetles and spiders. It has not been a successful trip as far as kids concerned. Dinner will be something and rice or noodles.

It's got heavier again. The emergency biscuits are looking particularly vulnerable
