AIBU?? Strange photo saved on boyfriends Messenger photo gallery

Right I know I'm probly just being stupid but then I'm like "or am i" before anyone says yes I can be stupid and immature so I'll just insult myself before anyone else does. So one day me and my boyfriend were looking through his "messenger gallery" and on his phone any photos that are sent to him on Facebook are saved to this folder. We were scrolling through and there was a LOT of photos I have sent him and then there was a photo of the back of this girls hair.. she was sittin on end of a bed, a room I dont recognise, and her hair was really straight and she had like a copper colour dip dye.. but anyway when we seen the picture I said who the fucks that.. and he goes is that not you?? (Because it was a picture from a while ago) and he said he seen it a few days ago and thought it was me, he said its probly saved automatically from a group chat or something stupid. But one thing I will say is sometimes he straightened my hair and took a pic of it to show me but that was saved on the camera roll and not the messenger folder like this one was. Can someone tell me if I'm bein Unreasonable to over think it but not go to harsh

Bit weird. I've never received random pictures unless they were sent to me. Seems a bit off.

Christ on a bike - I couldn’t justify at least 20% if the photos saved on my phone! I take loads of photos & screen shots then there’s the the ones that auto save from friends Bloody things save in the middle of my photos

I have several pics that have been added to group chats (What’s app) on my camera roll. It doesn’t sound suspicious to me..

OP said he takes photos of the back of her hair to show her - probably so she can see if he's done it properly without having to use two mirrors.

Try backsearching it, as suggested above. Might jog your memory if it comes up.

I dont have the picture anymore my phone completely wiped 😣😣😣 I dont know but if he would of took the photo of the girl it wouldnt be in his Facebook messenger gallery it would be in camera roll. And the only thing it said when we went into details was the date and time, that's it, but I think aswell if it came from a group chat he was only really in group chats with guys why would guys send a photo of a girl of there hair🤔 but then when I think it's to do with cheating why the hell would a guy take a pic of a bit on the sides hair or something. The only reason I over think is cause in the past hes done it with me (the picture thing) so maybe there is more chance that this has happened with this other girl. I dont know just throwin random things out there shes maybe asked him to straighten her hair then he was proud of it and took a pic or somethin like he did with me. Or does that sound ridiculous lol

He may have taken the photo from the girls phone and she then mailed it to him, I'm not suggesting this is the case...just a possibility. Not trying to add fuel to your fire however men can be very deceiving x

Yeah see I thought of somethin like that to! This was a wile ago aswell so its not even like I could say anything to him.. weve faught about it loads and hes swore blind it's not came from anything to do with him and another girl . But when I seen it he kept saying is that not you it was in his messenger folder for 6 months . It definitly isnt me though it does look like me tho but 1000 percent isnt

To me it just doesnt seem a coincidence that hes done it with me (taking the picture) and theres also another photo

However he is and was very open with his phone back then to always on facebook and in his mail and dont know where he woukd of found the time to meet anyone he worked 4-10pm 5 days a week and the other day his daughter stayed with him then the other day me and him always done somethin and he was always tired gettin up at like half 7 in mornin with his daughter for school, and he had his facebook profile pic of me and him from like 2 days after met and posted stuff all the time about us

If I were you I would just let this go for your own sanity, but always keep your eyes open, it all comes down to whether or not you truely trust him I guess. He seems to casual about it which makes me think it could well be nothing to worry about most men get extremely defensive if they get caught out. Good luck x

People send random pictures of them on nights out in my work whatsapp group, often outfit/getting ready pictures, that then save to my phone, I would imagine it's something like that rather than him going round to some girls to straighten their hair. Maybe he told a mate he did yours and then said mate helped straighten his girlfriends hair and sent the picture to your boyfriend? It doesn't sound suspicious tbh, I'd just try and forget about it.

Op sometimes I find photos on my phone and I don't know who they are...it's usually from group chats or if you accidentally click on a photo while scrolling and it downloads...

I have had photos appear on my phone randomly from god knows where - I saw one of some cakes - the crockery was mine but the tablecloth and background weren't - really freaked me out, but there are some weird things that go on with phones and stuff...
