Might sound a daft question but it's not to me....
Need a new one and thinking of getting a cordless but wondered if that is enough on its own without a main plug in vac. 3 kids, no pets. Dh is a builder though and I hoover the hallway and living room daily because of the amount of dust and mud and general crap he brings in 
Eldest ds has a dust allergy so it is important I hoover his room regularly as well as the rest of the house....I'd use it daily so just imaging how much easier and quicker it is to be in the world of cordless....
Any recommendations? Or shall I stick to a normal plug in vaccum seen as it will get used quite often....
