I do weights and strength training twice a week for 60 minutes each time. I also do 5k once to twice a week.

I eat approx 1400 cals per day, and once a week about 2000 cals on a cheat day.

Why havent I lost weight in 8 weeks?!?! Do I need to loose the cheat day? Sad

Not if it's skin. I find that my crepe paper belly looks more smooth when I am a bit bigger - kind of stretches it out.

You are so similar to me, Pre babies weight was 50kg but post babies even at that weight I had a fat tummy and loose skin. Now I do a hiit class, 1 yoga session, strength training and run 5/6 nights a week between 7 and 13kms at a time, some weeks I'll even throw in a spin class. I am now between 53 and 56kgs and never looked better, muscle tone is awesome and even though my stomach isn't perfect it's a lot better but it did take 2 years of exercise to make a huge change, happened slowly. Oh and I'm 42 if that helps 😁

  1. Aim for 2000 calories a day to give yourself enough energy.
  1. Your cheat day should not happen so often, that's probably tripping you up.
  1. Consider High Intensity Interval Training.

Good luck :)

Just read your last post, you can have a cheat day, but remember they're supposed to be rare. Also, don't expect to see results in just 8 weeks, maybe 2 months or more.

At the weight you are the most you can probably hope for is 1lb a week or 1/2lb. Before lowering the calories can you get someone at the gym to check you're pushing yourself enough? As you get fitter your body gets used to the exercise. Things like more reps or running faster might kick start the lose.
