To think dd1 should now have smaller room

Moving house, currently dd1 is bigger bedroom, has been for last 5 years, dd2 is tiny room.
New house dd2 has her eye on bigger room and dd1 is unhappy. AIBU to say, no, you had 5 years of space, it's still your own room, stop moaning (or you know, kinder words to that effect).

Nestis no I was never the baby, never the favourite daughter, and in my DMs eyes my brothers were far better than girls. So always being last for everything wasn't great.

YANBU, as an eldest child I had the biggest room and two younger sisters shared. When we moved to a bigger house I got the smallest room, and they got bigger ones as they had shared all that time.

Seemed fair enough to me at the time and still seems fair.

In a similar situation, I actually ended up with both girls sharing and using bunk beds. The smaller room was converted to a "playroom" when they were younger and now is the makeup/dressing room.
