AIBU to think this is not what a PM should be doing.

Paula Sheriff asked him to tone down his language. The tempers in the debate are stoking the flames and the PM's use of language such as 'surrender' are adding to it.

She then explains the death threats she and other MPs on all sides have been getting . The abuse.

His reply. 'Humbug'.

If you still want to support Johnson after all this, ask yourself if you support such a response

People parrot back those BJ words across the country in vox pops

Corbyn’s best effort is to say no to GE and not much more. His words don’t stick and are a confused message.

and I read on here yesterday that the Supreme Court were doing "a fabulous job keeping Boris and 'cronies' in check"

THAT'S THE FUCKING OPPOSITIONS JOB!! Or should be.

John1971 · 27/09/2019 12:18

Unfortunately that must be expected when we have an unelected, proven liar as Prime Minister. On the other hand he’ll be gone by the New Year at the latest.

True - but that's hard when you don't have a majority in Parliament. Which by definition is why you are in Opposition.

Who can keep the Government in check if it is acting unlawfully?
