No one in peace times has done more for this country. She's kept going despite all the bile she's received.

She would no doubt be better than Boris Johnson or Donald trump!

I’m so grateful that she stuck her neck out on for us all!
Not sure about PM - but her over some Etonian with zero integrity any day.

She and Lady Hale to rule the land!

It saddens me that so many Leave voters seem to be happy for the government to throw out the law, and the foundations of our constitution, in order to have Brexit affected as quickly as possible

It saddens me that so many remain voters seem to be happy for the elite to ignore the will of the people and the promise that the result of the referendum would be implemented, in order to have Brexit cancelled as quickly as possible.

Turningtides · 24/09/2019 19:03

It’s BJ who is the “elite” fgs! As for JRM, he’s on a level of his own. This lot wouldn’t know “the people” from a cabbage, let alone give a toss what their “will” is.

Who do you think will suffer most after Brexit, especially a No Deal? The very people waving the flag for BJ and his cronies right now! Do you actually believe this narrative that they identify with “the people?” What a joke! If “the people” think austerity was bad, they’ve seen nothing yet if BJ had his way.

If you believe the referendum result is being ignored, you've apparently not been following politics very closely since the Referendum.

She is an inspiration to all. No she's bloody well not; she is someone's useful idiot - probably Soros, who I read had donated £400k to her campaign.

She wants to remain because it benefits her..not because she has any great thirst to hold HMG to account. Why do it now...why not challenge Brown on signing Lisbon without a referendum, or Bliar on Iraq?

Breathlessness · 24/09/2019 20:31

’She wants to remain because it benefits her‘

Yep, that must be it. It’s not like she could just move to any EU member state and carry on having a successful and peaceful existence. She just had to go to court to challenge a PM unlawfully suspending Parliament to bypass the democratic process because she’s so selfish.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 24/09/2019 23:59

Such a justice warrior will obviously be publishing her accounts, to show how much all this has earnt her. I am guessing it will be 7 figures

No she's bloody well not; she is someone's useful idiot - probably Soros, who I read had donated £400k to her campaign. Oh if you read it, it must be true, right? She has specifically stated she was not funded by Soros. If it was true she would have been found out:
'“The report is completely untrue in connecting it with me. I have not had anything to do with that organisation, or the funders of that organisation, or the individuals in that organisation, since the day after the [general election] last June,” Ms Miller said."

She is extremely courageous taking two cases in the face of death threats as well as racist and sexist verbal abuse. Why would you want Britain to suffer due to a misguided vote by a tiny minority in such an ill-defined referendum? We have to face it - Brexit will be bad for Britain, and the 'result' of the referendum impossible to implement because what leaving the EU actually means is so unclear. The will of the people is impossible to discern in this case. And anyone talking about 'elites' driving the remain campaign: in what sense are those most vocally driving the leave campaign not elites. We all know that those who stand to gain from leave are the most elite of all, and those who stand to suffer, or gain from remain are actually the people. There's a contradiction at the heart of all this that cannot be reconciled.

Wow it didn't take long for the conspiracy theories and thinly veiled anti-semitism to come in! Angry
