AIBU to even think that I could actually BE pregnant and the test was right after all?

I am undergoing fertility treatment, not due to take my test until Friday (had to wait 2 weeks and 2 days). However I have felt so helpless that I caved and bought 2 tests.

Pink dye test from B&M - cheap at 2 for £1, then one clear blue.

I got a very very faint line on my clear blue but a negative on my pink one.

I am in a group on Facebook for people undergoing IU and IVF and the majority said that Clear blue tests are notorious for false positives and a web search does confirm this.

One minute I feel heartbroken, then the next I think "I could be!"

I am too scared to test again until Friday as I am happier not knowing for sure, than getting another negative :(

Anyone have experience of mixed results on certain pregnancy tests?

Congratulations! Such a lovely thread. You probably don't need to buy anything yet except your preggers vitamins. I didn't start wearing mat clothes until about 15 weeks (second baby so thats early), just take it easy for now and get excited for the 12w scan!

Hi ladies this is my first time posting. My period was due yesterday and nothing so I did a clear blue test today there is a faint positive line and I'm just not sure if the test is positive or not. Can you help?

Our boy arrived by emergency c section on 12th June weighing 7lbs 13oz :)
