Any movement, colours, static or just nothing?

Changing lights and flickering...doesn’t everyone??

Flashing flickering lights and negative images, but I am on an antidepressant, I think it is that

Just dark - nothing else

A terracotta colour for a while and then other colours emerge - sort of neon ones, pretty shapeless.

Just blackness. Which is weird because I'm sure I used to see colours and/or shapes once upon a time.

Negative version of phone screen with dots of light on grey.

Reddish black but very pixelated with a dot of light where my phone screen was

I see static (I also see it with my eyes open!)

Sometimes shapes and colours and yes, a negative of the room if I've just closed my eyes

If I hear a loud noise with eyes shut, I see a flash of colour as well.

I've always seen mild static I think, I never knew it wasn't normal. Should I see GP?!

I love this thread. I love how everybody has dutifully closed their eyes and is reporting what they see. It's very wholesome.

Flashing yellow horizontal lines, that crescendo into a green explosion and then just darkness.

If you don't have any problems with your sight when your eyes are open I'm sure you are fine.

I see dark brown with static, lighter towards the window.

I wouldn't take up a GP appointment for a benign issue you've always had.

Just google it. You may be like those people who connect colours to words.

It's always dark orange with a constant rotating circle that gets further and further away.. bit strange

Yes, I'm sure you are right. It doesn't affect my life. Although - I'd love to know what it's like to just see objects without mild static on top. It's hard to explain (I assumed it was the same for everyone)

I see a very dark reddish-black with a few little dark squiggles floating across

Occasional dark floaters which have always been there against a brownish background. If I concentrate hard I can create a tunnel effect with a light at the end.

Nothing at all until I start moving my eyes around and then I see the odd dark spot floating too

Nothing. If I cover my eyes, it gets darker but even looking at the window or screen before closing my eyes, I see nothing.

I see static or not, depends on the mood.
I have fibromyalgia, suffer from bad migraines so I'm not surprised. I just let it go - it doesn't influence my life at all. It's worse when I am tired and/or stressed out and my peripheral vision starts changing into waves plus I can't see properly straight, it's a bit blurry.

I'm running away from this thread before I start googling!

I see static and shapes too. Never occurred to me that others didn't...

Mostly black but with reddish shapes and streaks and they move. If I look at the window and close my eyes then I see the kind of light/dark version of the window. If I look at the light I see blobs of light that flash/move disappear and reappear for a bit.
I have seen with like a film of static over my vision before, just after waking up but only for a minute.
