Mums of baby boys (Autumn wardrobe)

Am I being unreasonable to think that baby boys' clothes everywhere are dark and drab? I've looked over the weekend in Next, Matalan and some supermarkets and have been left feeling so uninspired. The new season Autumnal clothes in particular all seem to be navy, grey or dark green and a lot of them are ruined further by garish slogans.

Granted I'm very fussy but girls' clothes in comparison are so lovely and colourful and look as though time and thought have been put into their design.

If anyone is able and willing to point me in the direction of some classic baby boy outfits (preferably with a splash of colour) please point me in their direction!

Thanks Smile

Couldn’t give a monkey’s to be honest. All my som’s Baby grows are second hand from Gumtree (he’s only a month old though). Don’t want to add to the already substantial contribution the clothing industry makes to climate change

This ^^

Baby clothes are the worst. Ebay, gumtree etc .. you have some brands to search now. Please buy 2nd hand if you can. Baby clothes are worn so little that you can afford to buy second or even 3rd hand. I have 4 boys and they've all worn the same passed down. And they look perfectly acceptable.

I started an almost identical thread a few days ago and got some great suggestions.

Zara have great stuff this season.
Also, Tobias and the Bear, Little Acorn Makes and Jo Jo are great.

Get all my boys stuff from H&M or M&s, you're right though, girls have a much bigger selection of much more fashionable clothes. Its hard not to get some with a stupid dinosaurs stuck in the front of it when you only have boys and the older they get the worse it gets I find.

Boots have some lovely colourful babygros in bright colours in their 3 for £13 range. The only issue is that they are the pull over head sort rather than poppers down the front. I've ended up with 6 after struggling to find anything other than blue/grey.

@BertieBotts wow thank you for taking the time to do this! I'm making my way through your links but have already been out and bought this from Sainsbury's - love it!
