When I got to secondary school, a tall fairly brash girl singled me out and said she was sitting next to me in class. This girl brought me in from the cold and nearly 40 years later she's still my darling best friend.

Shed a few tears over some of these. While I was a misfit with peers I was treasured at home. I'm so sorry for the bad experiences some of you have suffered. Sorry and sad
