It was a very chilled and happy existence, with sadly a lack of learning of life skills like organising, budgeting, housekeeping though! This is one of the reasons, I think, that my early academic success has not helped me one bit- whilst I'm clever I have had to learn to apply myself as an adult and this has come at some cost to my career progression! (It doesn't come naturally and so I have to put more effort in than everyone else to achieve the same bloody amount)
