AIBU to be fuming?!

What an absolute pile of crap. By definition according to this, I'm 'queer gender.' Sex is binary, the rest is just your personality and personal preferences.

Makes a mockery of homosexual rights.

Who on earth made the bbc the expert on this?! Queer theory is just theory, it's hard enough for adults to understand let alone kids!

Apparently there is also a video aimed at KS4 which has a “sexologist” telling 14 year olds that watching porn is not harmful as long as they remember it’s fantasy.

What about the fact that it’s illegal to watch porn under 18 and that the industry IS harmful and exploitative?!

Fucking hell. If they're old enough to be told they are ok to watch porn they're old enough to learn about how the actors get anal prolapses etc.

Queer theory grooming.

More on this evening on BBC Scotland, this time a loooong segment on the wait for surgery and hormones on the NHS with hormones being served as the magic cure all on The Nine.

Always the same script isn't it?

The young woman interviewed is an identical twin who "came out of her shell" when not around her twin. She is now he and excited about impending double mastectomy. Because that, like the physical effects of testosterone injections, will fix everything. A very brief comment from a Dr who is sad she is not allowed to prescribe injections directly to patients whilst they wait to see Gender Clinic. My heart breaks.

The one mention of counselling seemed to be happening long after hormone injections have been started and geared towards surgery?!?

There is zero critical analysis from the BBC since the Panorama glitch. I wish they would give equal air time to examining the Pique Resilience Project and other detransitioners instead of peddling drugs to uncomfortable teenagers.

Always always the reinforcing of this idea that messing with your endocrine system is an easy fix with no negative current or future health implications. Never the programme on being careful what you wish for.

I think back to how I felt as a teenager and even as a young adult. It takes time to grow into who you are. These children are being robbed of their future selves.
