To think that Double Deckers gave no place in a box of Heroes?

Love Heroes - have always eaten the whole box, unlike Celebrations where Snickers and Bounty are always left. But I was given a box yesterday and it had 6 mini double Deckers in it. Nobody in my family likes Double Deckers. What are Cadbury’s playing at?

hands off the creme egg!! I could never eat a whole creme egg so that lovely overly sugary blast of goodness is a perfect size!

I’ve never tried a double decker, but I’ll have the snickers (always marathon). I used to like bounty but now find it way too sweet.

I remember when Double Deckers used to have raisins in, but no one else will believe me! I'm starting to think I imagined it.....

Dh has succumbed to the piles of pouches stacked up in our local shop on offer, apparently, at £2.50 each. One Heroes, one Quality Street and one Celebrations.
Not one of the chocolates in any of that selection tasted how they used to taste. As a pp noted overhead about the creme egg sweet being a sugar overload all of them tasted far too sweet for me, chocolate was greasy and the double decker was thin and tasted nothing like a double decker.

When I was little I used to love diving into the massive Quality Street tin, which your Mother would then keep for ever to keep her home made cakes in.

Oh how I mourn the days when chocolate tasted like chocolate and not the sweet processed rubbish it is now.

WTF? There are people who don’t like double deckers?

I used to have one every day in high school. Then I went years without eating them until Cadbury’s mucked up their chocolate and dairy milks were off the table. Yum.

Loving that double deckers are now in heroes but still not over them taking it crunches and replacing it (for a while anyway) with bastarding toblerone.

Crunchies - now that's a true queen amongst chocolate bars, what are they playing at with all these changes? Toblerone is ok but let's be honest it's fairly tasteless, nowhere near the quality of a proper nutty chocolate bar like the Green & Blacks almond one.

I don't mind the double deckers but they're not the same as the actual bar.
