I didn't predict that anyone would read it that way, since I never thought anyone would seriously think Caroline Lucas had, in front of a televised parliamentary audience, referred to voters as "yokels", JRM as an "effete pipe cleaner" or skinning oneself alive a preferable option to being represented by JRM.

However, when it became clear that one poster had in fact interpreted the OP in that way, I clarified in my post of 22:10:55 last night. Beyond that, not really sure what I can do, since MNHQ don't allow for editing of posts.
