To ask for payback ideas

A ‘colleague’ at work went behind my back around a planned project and took all of the credit for 6 months worth of work I had done.
They are the kind of individual known for this and is disliked throughout the office due to their superiority complex and constant ego.
If anyone tries to raise concerns with those boss they claim bullying (absolutely not true, they just don’t like being challenged)

I know AIBU for asking for help but I need payback ideas, the pettier the better. E.g little things to inconvenience or annoy them. Nothing criminal but open to any suggestion Grin

You could make yourself a cuppa, casually amble over to his desk for a lighthearted chitchat. See if he notices the cup

Get a wireless mouse, plug the bit that goes into the computer into his and enjoy fucking with him randomly by moving the mouse. Remove it if he goes off to get someone from it and then put it back repeatedly. Grin

I can definitely sort an agenda item for them!

The admin team share my dislike for them so will happily sort that out for our next team meeting.

What kind of topic to go for Hmm

Love the mug idea, off to amazon now to find the perfect passive aggressive one.

I’m also thinking of the ‘oldie but goodie’ of sticking a note to their back, any ideas of what to write?

Could you get access to his computer without it being obvious? If so you can change the keyboard settings from UK to US quite easily (google it). It will work normally for most keys but there is the odd one where the positioning is different so what comes up on screen will not what he thinks he's typed. It won't damage the computed and is just as easily reversed but will take him a while to work out and will irritate him.

Oh! If he's one of those that doesn't lock his computer, flip the screen upside down. That's always funny. Grin

Amusedbush Farting in the envelope! Grin

How do I flip the screen upside down? This sounds perfectly annoying!

How can you not prove that something you worked on for 6m is your work?

I'd go all out to prove I did it.
