Absolutely vile

Rachelover40 · 02/09/2019 21:46

Oh that poor little kid! It's terrible.

As for the bloke, what a hard face, piercings in his eyebrow too.

Vile.

How are either of them going to live with themselves in the future?

Jinxed2 · 02/09/2019 21:48

That poor baby ☹️

DowntonCrabby · 02/09/2019 21:48

I hope the sentence reflects the horror of this wer boy’s suffering. None of this out in 5 for good behaviour shite.

Neither of these monsters should be allowed to have their own, or access to any children ever again.

Sad

The footwell space was 30cm (less than a foot) and reduced to 9.5cm with an electric switch . That is three and 3/4 inches

It would be like stamping on him, the force and the crushing.
Poor little boy ........and it seems it was a common occurance to put him in the footwell.

Both he and the Mother are equally to blame . She failed to protect her child and put his safety at risk to keep the peace with her boyfriend .

He was already with a string of assaults to his name .
And the innocent child pays the ultimate price .

Cherrysherbet · 02/09/2019 22:06

Bless his little heart. This man is an absolute monster, and they should throw away the key. As for the “mother”, we’ll I have no words. I just can’t understand how any woman can put her child in danger like this.

Scum, the pair of them.

theunrivalledjoysofparenting · 02/09/2019 22:10

Absolutely disgusting. He’ll get what’s coming to him in prison, though.

He has previous convictions for attacking an ex and her father.

Foul waste of space.

And the mother? A pathetic sentence.

AbsentmindedWoman · 02/09/2019 22:10

That is horrific.

That poor wee boy, I don't want to think about what his short life was like even apart from such a vicious ending Sad

Lizzylozzy444 · 02/09/2019 22:14

Let the bastard loose on the streets, he wouldn't last long! Someone will hammer him in jail! Hope he is tortured to the highest degree!!

converseandjeans · 02/09/2019 22:20

This story has really upset me. I think his adoptive father and mother tried to get him off hence him being sentenced later than the mother of the boy.
So cruel - I have no idea how the mother could sit there and do nothing.
Hopefully he will get a hard time in prison.

Xenadog · 02/09/2019 22:23

Both of the adults in this story should pay the ultimate price and I for one would be happy to pull the trigger, press the button or whatever. That poor, innocent baby did not deserve any of that and I can’t see what can ever be gained by allowing these monsters to live.

An unpopular opinion probably but I fully stand by it. That poor, little boy.

Butchyrestingface · 02/09/2019 22:27

This story has really upset me. I think his adoptive father and mother tried to get him off hence him being sentenced later than the mother of the boy.

He’s only just been convicted? He pled guilty.

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 02/09/2019 22:30

He was trialled at the same time as the 'mother' and there was a mis-trial, I believe. So the whole fiasco was due to start again, but he pled guilty.

Mummoomoocow · 02/09/2019 22:36

Nothing that has ever happened to another person has ever affected me as much as this. That baby boy, extinguished like he was worthless. Literally next to the only person that should have saved him. I can’t accept people like this are real.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 02/09/2019 22:37

That poor little soul - it's indescribable.

People like this should never be allowed near children again - and they should be sterilised.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 02/09/2019 23:02

I would love to understand what causes a previously loving mother to change once she meets a new man and become complicit in their child abuse and demise. I mean what is it?

EugenesAxe · 02/09/2019 23:09

I found it so hard to hear about this poor boy. I’m on the edge of sobbing my heart out about it. The video showing him trotting to keep up with people who didn’t give a shit. The crying to who should have been his bloody protector, as his life was snuffed out.

It’s just so horrific.

converseandjeans · 02/09/2019 23:13

butchy the mother was sentenced a little while ago and this was a retrial. So initially he pleaded not guilty but presumably enough evidence has been put forward now to make him realize he has no choice. He sounds vile. There was another couple in the car who I guess gave witness statements.

Butchyrestingface · 02/09/2019 23:16

@converseandjeans Yes, I know. The post I was responding to made it sound otherwise.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 02/09/2019 23:17

There was another couple in the car???!!

mathanxiety · 02/09/2019 23:17

How are you so sure she was a previously loving mother?

That CCTV video (it's on Youtube) shows a child well used to hurrying to keep up.

PumpkinP · 02/09/2019 23:21

There was another couple in the car?! THEY all sounds as bad as each other, sickening.

She isnt the first woman who has put a man above her child and she won’t be the last.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 02/09/2019 23:22

I don't think I could bear to watch a video of the poor baby, but I'll take your word for it MathanxietySad

Peakypolly · 02/09/2019 23:24

The video showing him trotting to keep up with people who didn’t give a shit. this is the image that haunts me.

Persea · 02/09/2019 23:25

Adrian Hoare’s sentence seems ridiculously light.
