Just saw this text on my partners phone. Is there any innocent explanation?

He’s gone to work and left the phone here so doesn’t overly seem to be trying to limit access to phone. I would have thought he would have deleted the texts at earliest opportunity if he was worried I would find them but it’s still there in his inbox. Surely you would need it to log on initially then it’s not needed so could be deleted. I think I’ve just read too much into it and will mention it to him and just see what he says. Googling the number it came from and the responses from others on that site has kind of made me think it was nothing. Could be completely wrong but I don’t think I’ll get to the bottom of it. The timing seems wrong as I think you’d need to be fairly brazen to register when in a tiny caravan with your wife.

There's ways to delete browsing history entries. There's ways to not have browsing history save but if someone's gonna to go those lengths to cover tracks I'd assume he'd have deleted the text too.

I searched that number into google too and majority of people have "tinder scam" written for the entries so could be innocent.

My concern would be the lengths he went to to stop you using his phone. He choose to use his phone while driving at 80mph instead, putting his family and other road users lives at risk. This dating website stuff sounds like it could be innocent but I'd be wondering what was on the phone that's so important he'd risk peoples lives for.

Have you looked for the app in the apple store? If he's ever downloaded it I think it'll say 'install' instead of download.. been a while since I had an iPhone though!

It could easily be someone putting their number in wrong. Someone has used my phone number to sign up for their online banking, I get useful texts to tell me when their account balance is low. I've rung the bank several times but they've said there's not much they can do about it without taking my number off my banking too. Although I'm sure there must be some sort of data protection issue there somewhere!
