What colour are these eyes?

I have very similar eyes. I'd say blue.

Well they’re not green are they? They’re grey blue. They are like my daughter’s eyes...grey blue with a brownish ring round the iris.

I don’t know why he says your eyes are green. I suppose green eyes are more unusual, so perhaps he’s trying to flatter you.

Blue hazel, same as mine. Mine are getting more hazel as I get older.

Green to me

Greeny blue haha..look just like mine . When im hungover they look more green .

The problem is everyone's screen is different, on mine they look grey with a golden ring on one. My eyes used to be blue with gold gold flecks and depending on the weather looked blue or green, today they've changed so look greenish in all lights.

My DS has a very similar colour, grey/blue with hazel flecks.

Same as my dd’s - grey/blue with yellow flecks.

I have light brown/grey eyes and dh has brown eyes with orange flecks.

I have central heterochromatic eyes the same as yours but with more brown, when I was little I was told they were sunflower eyes!
They are blue coloured eyes, but most blue eyes change colour depending on the light around them, if I wear green my eyes seem green, ifI wear blue they look bluer, and depending how I feel (unwell or hungover) they go green. Other times they go grey.

I think DH says they are "green" because they aren't pure blue like the blue eyes of him and the children. And sometimes they do look greenish, but not the light green of actual green eyes (my mum has green eyes) more like a dark bluey sea green. They're darker from a distance too, this photo was taken in the light to try and show the true colour. I've always thought they were quite nondescript as eyes go, neither one thing or another.

I love hazel or amber eyes! So pretty.

I've learnt something today about the browny/yellow bit around the iris in one of my eyes, I didn't realise it had a name. Thanks Mumsnet!!
