Hot weather sucks!

There I said it! AIBU to find the hot weather a pain?
Too hot to do anything without becoming a sweaty mess and can’t sleep properly!
Can’t wait for lovely Autumn 🍂 cosy nights in with big mugs of hot chocolate

stop moaning winter will soon be here. Freezing cold. Dark early and expensive bills. Hot days are few and far between get out and enjoy. So what if you have to wash more often does it matter.

YANBU! I'm an autumn, winter, and spring lover. Summer - when gotten than 21/22°C - is too much. Find it especially hard with young DC too I have to say.

As someone who is permanently cold unless blasted with heat and who struggles with winter and constant pain this weather is amazing.

Well it's been a lot hotter (as usual) in the east than in Devon!

Nothing like last year, of course, but dry and sunny and muggy for weeks with lots of days over 25 (which is too hot for me) and only the odd day of rain.

Ruined the school holidays for me because it saps your energy for even thinking, let alone moving.

I struggle in the heat. I'm not an anxious person at all but being hot really makes me panic. My hair is soaking I'm scarlet really what's to enjoy

It’s not as bad as last year. That just felt like it’d never end. I’m not keen on summer in general. It makes me feel sweaty and fat and slow!

I’d like to move to a country where it’s 20c or so everyday. I find extreme seasons annoying.

I hate the heat with a passion.

I keep looking at all of my lovely jumpers/hats/scarves/boots...

We went to Cornwall for 2 weeks and it was gale force winds/torrential rain/thunder and lightning. Bloody typical because I could've coped with this heat if we were in/near a pool or doing fun touristy stuff!
Instead all we had was summer clothes and sandals/flip-flops.

Total washout!
This summer needs to fuck off now.

I’m with you OP

I get chronic headaches when they heat is here. So I’ve been very lethargic and headachy the last 4 days

I now feel drained and just ugh on top of feeling sweaty

It’s been over 30 here (Kent) for the last few days, that’s too hot. DS’s room is in the loft and it hasn’t really cooled down up there until about midnight. It’s supposed to be about 24 tomorrow (with s possible shower at lunch time) much more bearable. Not quite ready for autumn yet / give it another few weeks.

I’m ok with heat (25 or below) but not ok with having a manic toddler when it’s hot and muggy. It makes her grumpy and I hardly get to sit down and chill. It’s no fun!

I do much prefer Autumn, I love everything about it.

We had two glorious weeks in Cornwall late July/early August and I enjoyed the nice weather. This weekend has been mostly good but to be fair, I'm not working so have been able to chill.

I must admit that given the choice, I prefer Autumn and winter 🍁❄

My problem is that I love sunshine, but hate the heat. My favourite weather is a crisply cold day in winter with frost twinkling in the sun.

I'm not a summer person but I do like days that remind me of childhood summers by the seaside. Low to mid 20's with fluffy clouds and a fresh breeze. Warm enough to go out without a cardigan is quite sufficient.

Oppressive heat that makes your clothes stick to you and sweat dribble down your arse crack can fuck off.
