I haven't heard the word 'slash' for a wee since I was at High School. Grim then, grim now.

I don't need to ask for my morning coffee Wink.

Sweet! Here whoever gets up first makes the tea! Mind you it's me at the moment due to insomnia!

DH makes me a coffee in the mornings and brings me a vanilla rooibos in the evenings. We've been together 14 years.

Perhaps the secret to marriage longevity is in fact closely linked with regular hot beverage provision.

Cute!

Dh and I do similar things. Although now we have a 16 year old dd who repays us for taxi services in tea and unloading dishwasher duties!

Not in this house. Dh gets up before 6am and makes himself breakfast whilst the rest of us are still in bed. DCs aged 16 and 13 get up at 6.20am and 6.30am on a school day so I am awake just before that. I have absolutely no need to be out of bed before 6.45am but I am with Ds and watching the news with him, in my bed, whilst the other one showers. Dh brings me a cup of tea in bed every week day morning.

Dh goes to work early, firstly to get a car parking space (city centre work) and secondly so he can be home every night for 6pm have a family dinner and actually spend time with his children which is made easier than the morning pre-school rush.

I have been a SAHM for 15 years, so all housework, cooking, laundry, shopping, research for buying stuff or holidays etc is done by me. Hardly lazy.
