To think Peaky Blinders is shite but Cillian Murphy is a God

Late to the Peaky Blinders party but everyone raves about it.

It’s shite, slow and could be over in half the time.

But the music is good and Cillian Murphy is mesmerising.

How can a man be that attractive?

Tried watching it when it came out but couldn't stick with it. Tried again recently and just couldn't get into it. I'm not sure I can try a third time

Saw CM in Ireland a few weeks ago making an 'arty' thing for his wife.... DH threatened divorce if I mentioned his name one more time. Such a beautiful man !!!!

Cillian Murphy is soooooo beautiful & an amazing actor too - Peaky Blinders is just OK imo but a must watch because of CM 💓

I'm starting a petition to get your account deleted on the grounds of blasphemy and account of you being utterly totally very unreasonable! Peaky Blinders is one of the best tv shows there is! I always think they could stretch it out over more episode tbh.

What other shows do you watch?

Agree with your comment on Thomas Shelby though. However is is weird that I only fancy him in PB. I don't actually fancy Cillian just Thomas Shelby!

The last series was a bit shit but the first ones were excellent. I love Cillian Murphy. His 6 music shows this summer made me love him even more- he’s got amazing eclectic music taste and is so well read. Bastard all rounder.

I heard him interviewed once. He said someone came up to him and said 'Are you Cillian Murphy?' and he said he was and she said 'Your eyes aren't even that blue' 😂😂😂

YANBU he is super fine. And the music is great. The rest of it is just men being 'hard' with each other for increasingly convoluted reasons. There have been some hilarious moments in it....

Peaky blinders is honestly one of the greatest dramas I’ve ever seen. It got to a point where we were all talking about it so much that we’ve renamed it to Squeaky Blunders in our house, just for varieties sake!

And agreed that CM is a god and you wouldn’t want to know the things I would do to him 😂

I'm just starting it. I agree that the 'modern' music is jarring and 'unnatural'. I'd prefer 'period' music or none at all.

It's starting slow, I'm committed to watching at least 5 episodes before I make a decision. Cillian is too pretty for me. I'll take Sam Neill, thank you very much.

I mean, none of the Brum accents are nearly as offensive as the awful “Irish” efforts produced by Sam Neill and Annabelle Wallis...

But yes, Cillian. 10/10 would bang.
Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons, not so much. He gets some bloody hilarious lines though.

I have only watched one episode and I will try more but it didn't grab me as much as I thought it would given the hype.
Agree with comments about accents they are dreadful from what Iv seen so far.

Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby is one of the sexiest things on the planet. I re-watched every scene where he takes his shirt off about 20 times. The man’s a god.

Re PB, I found it started brilliantly but go really slow around season 3.

Adrien Brody is usually a solid actor, but this one, he swallowed the "how to talk like the godfather in a joke sketch" guidebook whole. It was toe-curlingly bad.

Cillian Murphy had some shoes on 6music and as well as having that beautiful voice and great taste in music, he was just lovely 😍

I think it is a load of rubbish! I come from Birmingham originally and no way did anyone wear clothes like him .. they didn't have dry cleaners in those days .... as for his haircut! Don't get me started lol
