We are looking for a new footstool. Ive found this bad bastard and I'm in love! Its in the set budget and brown- the two things he mentioned!
Dp is saying no, it will go with nothing and its a fucking dinosaur.

He's obviously wrong and I'm totally buying it but AIBU?

years ago in that weird shop thats mostly full of live, love, laugh signs and garden ornaments (the name will come to me eventually) I saw a woolly mammoth footstool. I am obsessed with Mammoths and I fell for the thing.
I left it.

It is my eternal regret and I frequently drag poor DH in that shop to see if they have had another in.

Ok found it. It was The Gift Company.

The still have no mammoth footstools.

Fab. I've got a bling pouffe, brown and gold, foisted on me by a friend as it didn't suit her colour scheme. Hated by all except small children therefore it's tolerated and is hidden until some visit. The Dino is an objet d'art by comparison.

This reminds me of a local shop that sold fur coats when I was a child in the 1940s/50s and in their window was a footstool made out of an elephant's foot.

I thought it was the most cruel and vile thing and would always run past the shop, averting my eyes. My opinions of it and fur coats haven't changed.

Some of those at Redcandy are adorable but I would have them as ornaments.

DH wants to buy a creature from the black lagoon to crawl out of our pond but I think it will be stolen as it's in the front garden.

I could go a dino on the patio though.

@SistersOfPercy My colleague has one of the mammoth footrests. I was so jealous when she showed me. Funnily enough, it's also for her cat.
