To allow DS13 to lock his bedroom door

This really. I have two DS who are nearly 14. One of my DS has asked to be allowed to lock his bedroom door at times, presumably for some private time. I'm tempted to allow this, but people seem to think that it's unnatural and dangerous?

I had a lock on my room as a teen and I have one now, though I never use it. AIBU to not see much of a problem with this?

Does the door open inwards? This sort of thing screwed on with some weedy screws would be enough to stop anyone barging in, but would easily come away with a bit of a shove in an emergency.

Yes allow a lock. But a very small one that u could knock the door open of needed

But when he is asleep in the room, he is to take the lock off, breaks that rule and you remove the lock.

He prob only wants a wank
