Ben Foden marrying after 2 weeks

Una Healy's ex husband Ben Foden has married some woman he's been seeing for only 2 weeks.
After cheating, announcing his divorce on Bumble and moving halfway across the world from his kids (who he wishes he could spend more time with Hmm) I didn't think he could be more of an arsehole but he proved me wrong!

There is no way you can know someone well enough after 2 weeks to decide that they are the best thing ever, and a suitable wife/husband.
Sounds like a rebound. Una is a lovely girl inside and out. His loss!

The speed isn’t necessarily an issue in and of itself. Quick marriages can and do work.

However when children are involved his actions don’t scream great father.

1, hes been getting to know her a lot longer than two weeks , they've just been official for 2 Weeks

Oh that's ok then Hmm. And yes 'some woman'. That's what she is to his children and their mother.

He has already indicated his attitude to marriage by cheating on Una and announcing their divorce on Bumble. He clearly doesn’t place much value on it. I doubt he has thought too deeply about this marriage either before going ahead, and probably won’t lose too much sleep when it almost inevitably falls apart.

I always thought he was a strange man...anybody who choses to leave their young kids behind to live in another country does not have a strong moral compass.

I think being totally fair that isn’t always the case.

It’s quite common in team sports to have fixed contracts abroad, that isn’t necessarily an issue on its own.

Ah he's always been a complete shit, this is simply another way of him expressing his inner shittiness to the world. Fingers crossed having a great, levelheaded Mother means his children won't be too negatively affected by their tosspot father's antics. (And before anyone gets the arse about me assuming she must be lovely, yes, I've met her, and yes, she's genuinely lovely).

He's a dickhead. I saw him on some celebrity challenge and was all 'Oh I was in bits when my marriage ended blah blah blah' err mate it ended cos you fucked about. You cheated. Whatevers going on with this woman it won't last.

I had never heard of Ben Foden so had a google. Apparently he has never felt a love like this before. After two weeks dating, he is either lying, or he is really, really shallow.

Well his single so technically his not doing anything wrong, they are BOTH consenting adults 🤷🏻‍♀️

He may be a dickhead, but so are many.

It may or may not last but equally you could marry someone you’ve known years and that often fails too

Not sure why we can’t use the woman’s name rather than ‘some woman’

Ultimately I doubt his ex wife really cares, one would imagine she’s pleased his someone else’s problem not crying in to her pillow

I suspect this has been going on much longer than 2 weeks but of course a "2 week love story!" Is a much more tabloid worthy story and they are all about the publicity...
