Queue jumper or not?

Recently on holiday on a Caravan site:
This particular shower block has 5 showers. Decent sized, with benches. Not a tiny cubicle, can easily fit 3 people. But still, just 5 showers.

Nan, mum, child are next up... All wearing swimming costumes (so not going in naked) mum and child go in, nan waits for the next shower. Mum sends the kid out of the shower to go for a wee (round the other side of the showers)

Meanwhile, a shower becomes available. At this point there are probably 4/5 people waiting. The next woman in the queue and her child go in.

The nan then complains to the mum that her place in the queue has gone, she is going back to the van etc and the mum has a go at the woman (through the stalls) for jumping the queue.

Who is BU?

Should she have waited and let the nan back? Bear in mind it was tea time and there is a queue of people waiting

I don’t know, if I were the person in the queue I would’ve gone to the free shower if the ban was still in the loo. If she had come out I would’ve offered her my spot and waited a few more mins.

Either way I think the nan and mum were a bit U to moan and then have a go about it...if there are 5 showers I imagine one becomes free every 2 mins or so, I wouldn’t have gone off in a huff.

The mum should've told the child to hold for a minute, finished her shower and taken her herself. Unless she's 2 and about to poo herself. It's obvious that making the nan take her to the loo meant her place would potentially go. And why couldn't the nan just wait a minute and go in after the mum? How long does a bathing costume shower take?

It would be silly for everyone to sit waiting for the nan to return while a shower cubicle sat unoccupied. Fine for the next person to go in.

Once nan returned, she should have been allowed back to the front of the queue to wait for the next shower.

Nan lost her place in the queue, but couldn't she have just used the shower that her dd was in when she finished, or am I missing something? I could be, because I have had some Wine

Pissing in the shower is disgusting, show some respect to the other people there
How is the previous occupant peeing in the shower any different to them washing off sweat, dirt and boily fluids? It all goes down the drain

Nobody leaves the queue in a supermarket. They get a staff member to run round getting the forgotten item. Unless it is closing time. Then they rock up with a huge trolley get their toddler to unload it whilst they run around collecting another trolley load. Grin
