Ordered brown toast with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. These were the mushrooms, obviously I didnt/couldn't eat them....

Perhaps so, Daphne, I see the same old posters wading in to give a pasting to an OP who has done nothing more malevolent that dual-post a thread about funghi. It's really unnecessary and it gets on my nerves.

Bluntness there was nothing 'curious' or 'amused' in those posts, they were meant to make the OP feel silly about posting. Replace the word 'bitchy' with 'pathetic' if that suits better. Nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade either.

I'd rather female dogs be re-named actually since the word 'bitches' has been appropriated, as they're in shocking company.

Oh yes, it's always the same posters. I suppose they name change every now and then and I think the bitchy / pathetic posters outweigh the funny, witty supportive ones now.

I'm on the fence. I like my mushrooms properly cooked through but I know lots of people prefer them to be a bit less done

I think it's better to let the posts stand so that others can read them and avoid if they choose to. The only posts I routinely report are those critiquing somebody's SPaG.

I didn't call anybody a bitch on this thread but I was certainly thinking that they were.

They're field mushrooms and they look like this when cooked, OH almost lives on them, they're not like the white button mushrooms. They look perfectly OK.

They are qware looking mushrooms. The white stalk is charred black. Possibly might have tried them or asked the waiter what sort of mushrooms they were.

But is that brown sauce I see the remnants of on the plate?
