To have mixed myself a red wine, lemonade and ice

I decided to experiment with what I’ve got in the house and it’s amazing! My new favourite drink. Is it a thing already or have I invented something great?

I have white wine with peach and passion fruit flavoured fizzy water, mmmmm

Right. What am I doing wrong? I have mixed 50/50 Merlot and San Pellegrino lemonade and lots of ice. 5 different people have tried it now and we all think it’s horrible. Have I got the proportions wrong?

My summer's have almost been ruined by the difficulties in obtaining sweetener free lemonade for my tinto de verano.

Lemon fanta shandies have had to be abandoned completely.

Perhaps a lighter red @BertrandRussell ?

No, it is lush and I want one now.
A Spanish friend gave me calamucho (sp) but wouldn't tell me what was in it, it's lovely though.

I think you need R Whites @BertrandRussell not posh stuff.

That could explain it- too much flavour in the posh stuff.....

I've not tried this, but I love port, lemonade, ice and lemon - it's a gorgeous drink.

Brilliant thanks -off the back this thread I had a red wine Fanta and ice cocktail last night with my pizza and it was great!

I wish I was at home. I’m at work so no wine 😖I have a multitude of bits hurting & not working well already and now I have a very sore throat and feel crap. Alcohol of pretty much any variety sounds good (preferably low/no carbs and no calories either- 🙄🙄)
