Aibu to think this is Lyme disease?
On 3 year old sons calf.
We are in an area of high ticks and dog walk in areas there are ticks.
Noticed a raised lump like a bite 4 days ago but didn’t spot an actual tick.
Now this has appeared.
Phoned 111 at 10am this morning and they said he needs to see someone, but they’ve not called back.
Sorry can’t remember if it’s Tic or Tick 🤷‍♀️

I have Skeeter Syndrome and mosquito bites result in the the classic looking tick bite bullseye/cartwheel rash on me, it's best to get checked by an actual GP who can run blood tests.

I have had him checked!
It’s not lymes. Lymes ring is bigger apparently, more defined and the ring stays present for around 2 weeks and doesn’t fade away!

Sorry just realised that my update post wasn’t very clear!
We got him checked and they said it wasn’t lymes disease, more likely a reaction to a bite, mainly due to the reasons I listed below!
Also the ring has almost gone now, which makes me much happier as apparently the ring doesn’t fade away after 2 days with lymes disease.
