@FudgeMallowDelight I always suspected she wished she and Richard were together. Classic ep when she suspects Elizabeth has a 'man' in the house. "I warned her about watching channel 4"

I used to work (briefly) part time in a florist around the time the series first aired.
We referred to bouquets as ' Bucket for Mrs Smith - pink and cream' etc in her honour.
