Having dinner earlier at a restaurant with salad bar. Observed a perhaps 8 year old scooping up pasta with tongs, scraping excess off with fingers, licking fingers, more scraping, licking tongs.

Please supervise your children.

Dobby not just Lidl, Tesco with their plastic film over the displays that people push back, hack over the contents and then put back creating a lovely humid germination ground for germs.

Lidl bread is indeed lovely, Tiger loaves are the best. Just have to stand and wait until someone comes out with new stocks for the display.

I was at a service station once and I saw a subway worker come out of a loo, rinse her hands, no soap and go straight back into subway next door and start serving without gloves.

That’s gross.
I avoid salad bars having had the worst food poisoning/norovirus/whatever it was from them.
They’re just off-putting.

I nipped in the loo in our local Debenhams yesterday. A lady who worked in the cafe came out of the cubicle and proceeded to rinse her hands in the sink. She was still wearing blue gloves Confused
I do hope she disposed of them but probably not.

I was filling up some pick a mix in Wilkos- turned the corner to the other side to find a child leaning out their buggy grabbing handfuls of stuff some going into mouth, some going back in the pot, some via the floor and some after being licked.

I popped my half filled bag down on the side and left..

The worst I ever saw (at a fancy store) and a child licking the nozzle of the ‘grind it yourself peanut butter machine’. Mummy patiently watched and said nothing.

And the bread counter is open and self service. People pick up the (unwrapped) bread, poke it, squeeze it, sniff it... then put it back... 🤢

Loads of kids (and adults) stick their hands into the barrels of grains too (just to play with it).

Shoppers of Wholefoods (apart from my family) - you are barbarians! I never buy anything open in there!

Ugh like mysweetAudrina I can safely say all salad bars are safe from my 2 ruffians. I did however watch 4 people walk away from a supermarket deli counter the other day where you build your own coleslaw/ potato salad container type things after a woman (better not mention her age or I'll be agist) coughed and spluttered all over them all while filling hers Envy
