Of her clear love of Tupperware.

❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’d love to know her favourite ones and what water bottle the kids had. And the cool bag. I loved that cool bag.

And in other news it’s a slow slow day in the gluey household.

Sorry theBig it was an easy mistake.

noodlenosefraggle · 12/07/2019 19:10

As if she has prepared something in 'a disposable foil tray' That's definitely a housekeeper/chef! And Evian bottles? Maybe Wills should have packed the picnic, what with his concern for the environment and all. He should be fully aware of the scourge of unnecessary plastic water bottles. Or is it just everyone else who should be doing that?

happyhillock · 12/07/2019 19:16

Kate make's macaroni cheese, and sometimes does her own shopping ( with a bodyguard ) WOW!!!!

LauraMontreville · 12/07/2019 19:18

I was at boarding school with Catherine (or Cat as we called her back then ). She was slways organising the most amazing picnics and would persuade Cook to let her put the food together. Cat wasn't a Tupperware fan back then. Carole used to supply the paper plates and napkins from faulty stock at Party Pieces.

Happy times.

I thought it’s pretty normal for royal children to have tea with nanny and adults eat separately later?

DillyDilly · 12/07/2019 19:26

I’d say Kate is a lot more hands on and present with her children that a lot of you seem to think. I’d say behind closed doors, they’re pretty much like every other family.

GlamGiraffe · 12/07/2019 19:28

Doc does come from a normal ( albeit middle-class) background and hasn't grown up waited on hand and foot, I'm sure she is perfectly capable of preparing a picnic for her children.
Is it really that abnormal not to eat an evening meal at the same time as a one year old five and seven year old? In my household they always have tea much earlier than we eat. It's just a matter of practicality. I'm not sure that has much to do with royal upbringing.

IDontLikeZombies · 12/07/2019 20:04

Do you remember the pastel pudding bowls with the lids? Ours always seemed to have Angel Delight and a sprinkling of tinned fruit in them - happy, happy days Grin

NoelFridgeAntics · 12/07/2019 20:19

@Butchyrestingface
Have the courage of your convictions and book that one-way ticket to the People's Republic of wherever. grin

So, France then? Better food, better weather, better wine, no Brexit lunatics fucking up the economy - yeah I'll take it.

But seriously, why the hell should I leave the country my family have lived in and fought for for generations, far longer than the Saxo-Coburg Windsors have done, because I resent the fawning over these useless parasites who received an 8% increase in the sovereign grant this year whilst millions of children and disabled people live in poverty?!

yarenbaren · 12/07/2019 20:21

How else would you transport food? Stop glorifying these people. The sycophancy does my head in

Butchyrestingface · 12/07/2019 20:33

Because you said yourself:

”What I wouldn't give to be able to leave this country for good.”

Anyway, if the weather isn’t a factor in your choice of destinations, no need to even leave the UK. Just come to Glasgow. Guaranteed Windsor love free zone up here.

@Butchyrestingface

Think you'll find I didn't say those words.

I love the Scots. Roll on independence.

spaniorita · 12/07/2019 20:56

Is tinfoil really much better for the environment than Tupperwares? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Butchyrestingface · 12/07/2019 21:06

Think you'll find I didn't say those words.

It read like you were responding to my post as the PP. Totally confoozled. Sad SadSad

I love the Scots. Roll on indepedence.

Wee Nic will sort it. We will even let some the English in so long as they promise never to talk about Kate. Or her tupperware.

Beeswax wraps is where da party’s at these days. Bit of a nightmare to make cling to the food though, I find.

Jencottage · 12/07/2019 21:09

I have a knife set and my cooking pots are from Tupperware. Used to live abroad where they are more popular. I really miss the parties and having a feel of the product before purchasing !

Stopyourhavering64 · 12/07/2019 21:25

When they lived on Anglesey I've stood next to Kate in Waitrose and spied on the contents of her trolley Grin ...yes she did her own shopping and the although security guards were obviously nearby, they were not obtrusive....I also have it on very good authority that she's an excellent baker of cakes

SinglePringle · 12/07/2019 21:49

Kate did indeed do their shopping when they lived on Anglesey. The press did indeed leave them alone.

And all that was a while ago.

They now have a much more prominent role in The Firm and there are trappings that go with that.

Getting your picnic prepped and packed for you is probably one of the minor perks...

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 12/07/2019 21:52

She was papped in the supermarket not long ago - she is still a human being.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 12/07/2019 21:55

Wasn’t she spotted near Christmas in a random shop like home bargains or similar in Norfolk?

UrsulaPandress · 12/07/2019 21:56

She shopped in Tesco at Holyhead.

RubberTreePlant · 12/07/2019 21:57

The royalist masses are so easy to impress.

If I post a photo of me loading plastic tubs into a coolbag will you support my bid for a life of luxury on the taxpayer's bill?

TheBigBallOfOil · 12/07/2019 21:57

“She is still a human being.”
No shit.

JaimeBronde · 12/07/2019 21:58

When I'm bored & in a long supermarket queue I love surreptitiously seeing what other people have in their trolley.
I don't judge I'm just nosey curious.
Goes away wondering if Kate had baguettes, nice wine, honey, olives, cornflakes & Haribo in her trolley.
