To wonder why people are so inconsiderate!

On a lovely holiday in Greece. We are staying in a small, family friendly apartment complex with only 8 apartments. Everyone has been so considerate, no noise, quiet around the pool, just generally nice and chilled.
Yesterday, two middle aged women and a teenage boy arrived and have been put in the apartment next to ours. We’ve had gangsta rap at full volume yesterday afternoon, this morning the women are chain smoking on the balcony (which is only separated by a glass screen), burping loudly, discussing their sex lives and every other word is ‘Fuck’.
Why? What makes them think it’s ok to be inconsiderate? Just hoping they’re only here a week!

One of them is yawning so loudly in the next room I can hear her - she sounds like chewbacca every time.
I feel like shouting ‘tired are you, you stupid bint, get some fucking sleep then’...

Ugh. Yes, O would actually consider police of this continues. Might embarrass the hotel into doing something, and if they kicked offat police then a night in the cells might do them some good. Not very forgiving of me, I know, but I feel cross on your behalf. If it was one night and no graffiti it would be annoying but let goable. This is ridiculous.

Sleepyhead11 · 14/07/2019 17:28

Sorry for typoes, on new phone

ShinyMe · 14/07/2019 17:30

Get the TUI rep on the phone as well. It's not good enough that you've reported it and they haven't done anything to tackle it.

HairyFloppins · 14/07/2019 17:33

Sorry they are still being annoying shits OP. I would phone TUI in the UK and complain and ask to be moved or upgraded. Yes tell security as well. The security guards were bloody scary in Salou the other month. They had all sorts of weaponry around their waists.

HavelockVetinari · 14/07/2019 17:33

Oh how awful, I'm sorry this is happening on your holiday. And poor DD, a child shouldn't be hearing that sort of language, let alone seeing badly-drawn cocks Sad

Candymay · 14/07/2019 18:07

I like the idea of calling the police. If they are as disruptive again tonight- and the graffiti seems aggressive- then the security people should be called and if not then call the police. Sounds absolutely awful and you should be looked after and compensated.

Singlebutmarried · 15/07/2019 07:51

Waiting to see what this mornings graffiti is

Aftertheparty · 15/07/2019 08:05

Quiet (ish) last night! The lad bellowed out something at some point but I was half asleep and only barely registered it. Certainly no screaming and banging. Hopefully they’ve been told.

LittleLongDog · 15/07/2019 08:16

Hopefully they’ve chilled out now and you can all enjoy the rest of your holidays.

feelingsicknow · 15/07/2019 08:17

You need to show the manager the photo of the graffiti (sorry if you have already). I wouldn't care if they were quieter last night - they need to be chucked out. It's hardly relaxing for you if you're receiving glares and suffering intimidation on your holiday. These people make me physically sick and furious. Best of luck OP. X

MrsGideon · 15/07/2019 16:31

How's it going today @Aftertheparty ? Have they been giving you daggers again?

Aftertheparty · 15/07/2019 16:37

We’ve been out all day exploring and on the beach so not returned yet, it doesn’t bother us anyway as there is another larger pool that we can use if we want to avoid them. I’m very much hoping they are only here a week - they’ll be going home Thursday morning then 👍

INeedAFlerken · 15/07/2019 16:46

How foul. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to travel.

I hope they get booted out.

NoSauce · 15/07/2019 16:48

Rough as toast. I’d find out how long they’re staying and if it’s another week I would ask —demand— to be moved.

CanuckBC · 16/07/2019 00:00

You shouldn’t be miserable because they are assholes. It’s one thing to stumble in hammered and do the try to be quiet and fail and completely another to be noisy, singing, banging into things and noisy as all get out! The first is somewhat acceptable although still aggravating, the second is not acceptable and all the more aggravating.

It’s wrong that you are having to change what you do due to these assholes🤬

I hope they calm down and are gone soon.

OrangeJellySpread · 16/07/2019 07:38

This is why scum bags should not be given money to travel. Keep them in their shitholes!

MrsGideon · 16/07/2019 11:53

Hope you got some sleep last night OP!

JustTwoMoreSecs · 16/07/2019 20:38

Some people are just rude.
OP at least the don’t live next to you, imagine how that would be 😱

HollowTalk · 16/07/2019 20:43

You have to feel embarrassed for them. And sorry for them with that cock pic, too.

GuernseyDonkey1 · 19/07/2019 09:32

Well I hope they left yesterday!

cushioncovers · 19/07/2019 18:45

Update us op.

Aftertheparty · 20/07/2019 16:41

Yay! Sorry too busy having a good time. Yes, they left Thursday morning - we’ve had lovely, considerate decent families since. 👍

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 20/07/2019 16:56

Thank goodness for that.

I wouldn’t be using that hotel again though. Sounds like the problem was only solved by them leaving, not from any intervention by the hotel at all.

cushioncovers · 20/07/2019 18:06

Oh thank goodness for that op.
