I'm sitting near a very loud group, in twenty five minutes I have heard all about their holiday cottage Cornwall , their two night trip to a theme park where they will easily spend £500, their expensive trip to an adventure place where they can be like bear grylls, how only children at their expensive private school go to such places as it's not really for state school pupils, daily mail sad faces over parking charges (hello if you are on mn and lower the volume, I can hear you on the tables by the outside bar), long haul foreign holidays etc etc. Ffs shut up bragging.
Oh and you don't have OCD.

Sit near them, get on your phone (pretend to be talking to someone) and say loudly “oh, well, no-one will remember you by how much money you had, or what shoes you wore when you’re gone, they’ll remember you for being pleasant, kind and polite”

Next time go up to them afterwards and say, in the most common accent you can pull off, ‘Ey up kidder! I’m taking the babbies to that Bear Gryllls wotsit the same day as you! Small world int it? It costs a bleeding packet, but what’s the point of sneaking out of work every couple of weeks to sign on if you can’t treat the kiddies, eh? Give me a wave if you see me; we can sink a few pints after! Ta-ra a bit!’ Maybe with a hearty slap on the back as you leave for good measure.
