Just for around the pool/beach on holiday. They’re so ugly but I can imagine them to be very comfy.

To put my daughter in crocs?

(Also his feet are so far growing quite slowly which def helps!!)

dontatme · 04/07/2019 21:31

The ones in the pic are quite cute actually. I don’t think they’re as outrageously ugly on little kids! It’s when full grown adults wear them out and about as a fashion choice that I judge Grin

DrCoconut · 04/07/2019 21:32

My DS's love them for summer. Shorts, t shirt and crocs and you're ready to go.

Rebssss · 04/07/2019 21:34

@Cravingcake ive found them on schuh, next and very , there are some other colours too x

Why do people have such issues with crocs . They are comfortable and great at the beach , paddling in little streams , by the pool etc. Easy to put on and take off . I love them

AnotherEmma · 04/07/2019 22:02

more
I know the website but there are no waterproof sandals for £20, not in my son's size anyway. They start at £39.99.
I know where to look, you'll have to trust me that I haven't found any!

Soosiesoo · 04/07/2019 22:49

I love these! Just bought the exact pair for my 3 yr old dd. Perfect for summer, can get wet and will dry quick!

LakieLady · 04/07/2019 22:52

I wear crocs around the house:garden as I have plantar fasciitis and they’re great for relieving that.

They're great for achilles tendonitis too.

As an added bonus, you can wash them under the outside tap should you accidentally step in a cunningly concealed dog egg in the garden.

Blueberrysponge · 04/07/2019 23:04

I love crocs! I don't care if people think they look ugly and my kids like them, once a guy even stopped in the street, lowered his shades and pointed at my feet while yelling "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE THINGS?!" in disbelief. Haters gonna hate 🙄🤗

GrapefruitIsGross · 04/07/2019 23:10

I bought v similar ones for toddler dd this year and was well impressed. They had a flash sale on their website and I got them for £15.

With small children’s sandals I’ve noticed that you can either go cheap from Pennys/Dunnes/Matalan etc and they’re crap with no support, or pay £££££ from Clarks. Crocs are a pretty good middle ground.

CardinalCopia · 04/07/2019 23:11

Ah do it they're comfy!

I dug mine out recently for when I'm in the garden watering or taking out the bin. DH took the Piss mercilessly. Guess who I keep catching in the garage in my bloody crocs!

I've threatened to buy him a pair of kiss ones for his birthday. I'm only half joking.......

NCforthis2019 · 04/07/2019 23:13

Buy her some Nike’s!

Sassypants82 · 04/07/2019 23:13

My daughter has these! They're actually cute & really light & comfy. My son is also living in his traditional clog crocs in this heat. Does it really matter what they look like?

Wingedharpy · 04/07/2019 23:21

I went to a garden party at Buckingham Palace in crocs - honest.
I wasn't one of the people there having to walk round on tip toes to stop my heels sinking in the grass.
They are light and comfy, albeit not the most attractive of footwear.
Go for it.

Tigger001 · 04/07/2019 23:25

Sorry but I absolutely hate crocs, must be on my top 10 of hates.
I was nearly a little but sick when a " friend" suggested I get a pair for my son to take on holiday.

However these are more of a scandal than a traditional croc, so not as bad.

Tigger001 · 04/07/2019 23:26

🤣🤣🤣 that should say Sandal rather than scandal 🤣🤣😁

ilovecheese1 · 04/07/2019 23:26

My 2 year old daughter has these exact ones. It’s way more important to me how her feet feel rather than what they look like! But I actually think they look really cute on her & they’re so practical. Honestly anyone judging a child’s shoes is a knob.

TheHandsOfNeilBuchanan · 04/07/2019 23:31

I think they're fine, Schuh have a sale on at the moment and have some nice children's Birkenstocks made from EVA (lightweight and waterproof) for £10

that25cUKHeatwaveof2019 · 04/07/2019 23:31

Crocs are cute on little kids, I can't see the issue.
Unless you put them in high heels, kids can get away with pretty much any footwear. Adults not so much.

There a lot more comfi than flip flops for little ones

AnotherEmma · 05/07/2019 08:37

"once a guy even stopped in the street, lowered his shades and pointed at my feet while yelling "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE THINGS?!" in disbelief."

Grin Rude but that made me laugh!

"I went to a garden party at Buckingham Palace in crocs - honest."

Shock
Bravelurker · 05/07/2019 10:31

I love my cheap knock off white Crocs and won't hear a bad word about them. Of course I would not leave the house in them due to being treated worse than if I was wearing fur.
My last hot beach holiday where the sand was too hot for my friends to walk on, I pointed out that this is when Crocs come into their own. And you can wear them in the sea ffs. What's not to love?

Pinkkahori · 05/07/2019 10:36

I just bought some Crocs flip flops. Navy crocband style. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly and are so comfortable.

My dcs always wore crocs in summer when they were younger.

AlaskanOilBaron · 05/07/2019 10:39

I don't understand them and have managed to successfully avoid them.

Why not just flip flops?

that25cUKHeatwaveof2019 · 05/07/2019 10:41

I hate running in flip flops, I wouldn't ask my own kids to, crocs are more comfortable.

I have got better shoes to wear in the sea, but nothing wrong with crocs, all mine have a pair every year.

MaudebeGonne · 05/07/2019 10:45

I quite like Crocs on children. They can get them on and off by themselves, they are super durable, they are easy to wash and they are in lovely bright colours. I think they are cute.
