I'm more Hmm about posters saying a five year old looks like a slut than I am about a twerking five year old in the first place.

If she's proper twerking and not just wiggling her bottom then someone has taught her to do it and that is just gross!

Yanbu, it would make me feel uncomfortable. I also find those videos on YouTube of little children doing adult dances (Latin, tango, salsa, etc) extremely uncomfortable, in a similar way to how I feel about child pagents.

E.g. . They are clearly talented but I just can't watch it without cringing.

Well this post has caused a right culture clash in me. Brought in a calvinist world where nobody knows how to dance and people are so stiff that arthritis is the norm and living most of the rest of my life in Mexico where everyone knows how to dance and shake their hips.

Little girls are playing at moving their bodies and imitating. Unless they are put in an inappropriate environment, what is the harm?

I remember my best friend being shocked at her DD emulating a sexy Kylie video ( the one where they are lying down on the floor, can't remember song).
She just ignored it and DD moved onto a different dance after a couple of weeks.
My guess is that your DN will move onto to something else too, giving it attention be it positive or negative will only encourage the behaviour.

There's a difference between bum-wiggling and twerking. If she's twerking she's likely been taught it by her mum (inappropriate) or learned it from a sexualised music video (inappropriate) so YANBU.
