We’ve just got home after a day out. Dh is hungry(but didn’t say if)and grumpy. Gets up and opens cupboards and fridge. Sighs loudly and sits down again.

I asked(big mistake) if he was hungry and he says yes and there’s no food in the house. Fridge is full, freezer is full, cupboards are full. Apparently there’s nothing to eat because it all has to be assembled in some way.

So apparently I don’t do the shopping properly because there’s no instant food. (There is)

What the fuck is instant food? What should I be buying?? AIBU to have no idea and want to kill him?Angry

@trackingmedown that is it exactly! I’m going to tell him that. He can figure out what to do with the ingredients and yes he’s lucky he’s handsome otherwise he’d be wearing the lot🤣🤣

Sounds familiar, if there's no cake there's nothing to eat

My DP and my kids are the same. The answer is sausage rolls, for one of them and those revolting microwave burgers for another. Pot Noodle for eldest dd and fruit for youngest dd. Crisps and cadburys mini rolls for everyone.
