First time poster but in a slight pickle. My 5yo DD (who is already quite fussy regarding clothes) needs a new raincoat and yesterday described one she wanted. I googled it and it came up with one which I saw her classmate wearing the other day. I asked her where she's seen it and she said the girls name. I've shown her a few other styles but she is adamant she wants that particular one and won't entertain the idea of any other ones. It's quite a distinct looking raincoat and I feel apprehensive about buying it for her. AIBU and how would you feel if someone "copied" your dc raincoat? I have mentioned to my DD that their coats would get mixed up if they have the same one but no, it's not deterring her and tbh it's putting me right off buying her a raincoat at all. I don't talk to the mum as she's quite exclusive but our dd's are playmates. A bit trivial but would love to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance for any comments
