To have a Halloween wedding?

Recently engaged, just bandying about ideas for the wedding. Thinking of an autumnal theme, lots of rusts and creams and burnt sienna colours yada yada. As for ‘themes’, I don’t want to go down the creepy Halloween route of tacky costumes, witches and vampires but I thought a few pumpkins and lanterns as decorations might be nice! Might be very cute to see children present (lots in the family!) dressed up in costumes, though.

However, I’m a little apprehensive that it might be

A) Cold
B) Wet
C) People might have other plans
D) A close friend’s birthday is 31st October and she can be a bit precious about birthday (FWIW she’ll likely be a bridesmaid as I was hers)

Would you have (or attend) a Halloween wedding?

That sounds so so so cool, l would love my wedding to be on Halloween or to be invited to one! As a guest I would kinda expect to come in costume or at least dark/gothic clothing which isn't traditional wedding but still! there are a few people who have done similar on offbeatbride.com, check it out for inspiration

yes cool I think it would be great! I have just bend to a wonderful wedding last weekend and they had lots of 'toffee roses' in the bride's bouquet and as decoration on their cake and it would be totally appropriate and lovely for an autumn wedding. look them up they are beautiful roses -
