To Spanx or not to Spanx?

Has anyone used these? Do they work? Got a wedding in a fortnight that l should have already lost weight for but guess what? I haven't! Unlikely l will lose my spare tyre (which l totally blame menopause for) in time but wasn't sure if they are worth the money?

I love them. I’ve got the high waisted ones that come to mid thigh. You don’t have to take them off to go to the loo - there’s an opening so you just wee out of that. Although positioning yourself over the loo after a few wines is a tad tricky as you can’t do it sitting down. Or maybe you can and I’m weird.
