AIBU to not wear a bra to a wedding

I’m a guest at a in a few weeks and the dress I’m planning to wear has gaps in the back that mean a normal bra would be visible. At the front the dress has a high neckline and sleeves so all very covered up. I wasn’t planning to wear a bra, but I showed DP the dress on yesterday and he said he thought I should wear one. I could get one of those stick on ones, but I’m not convinced they’re very effective. I’m a D cup but quite pert. Obviously breasts wobble but I’d be completely covered at the front and the dress isn’t see through or anything. What do you think? Is it rude in some way not to wear a bra to a wedding?

Lol at people insinuating that all d cups will fly around everywhere and look saggy. If you feel comfortable then go for it. I'm 32 f and have gone braless with tit tape. It's fine with the right dress.

Also perky pear stuff works really well.

I bought a bra from primark with clear plastic straps, shoulder and back, it's ideal for backless dresses

Get him to stand in front of you at all times so no one can see Grin

thanks for all the bra/tape/general equipment recommendations. Also loving all the descriptions of breasts flying around while dancing. I’m not sure mine are quite that acrobatic, but I’m definitely going to film myself dancing braless to find out!

If you feel comfortable, go for it.

I'm a 30D and will be going braless to a wedding in a few weeks (with nipple covers as the fabric of the dress is thin). They certainly won't be flying everywhere - they aren't large enough!

As a minimum I’d get some kind of nipple tape stuff so you don’t have your nipples obviously on show through the dress. I personally wouldn’t do it but I love that you’re confident enough to.
