To have 4978 unread emails?

I've just deleted another 7166 unread emails... I'm overwhelmed. I think they are breeding.

Oh I may be awful with emails but I can't stand unswiped notifications on my phone. I have to deal with stuff right away. I have turned off notifications for everything except texts and emails though so I don't get too many anyway.

I also only have a couple of apps open at a time, max. My mother drives me nuts as she will have 50 different apps open at once, never ever closes them sayigg she doesn't know how (I've shown her multiple times) then complains her phone is really slow

Zero unread emails in my inbox.
My junk folder is another matter. I'm guessing a zillion? I don't see them so don't care.
Not sure how I set it up!

40,997 in the app and 80,000+ in web browser as the app has date limits.

My work email is slightly better, currently 148 unread, another 90 flagged for action and 25 marked for me in a shared inbox. I really don't like emails 😂

This stresses me out. I read/delete/unsubscribe/move to appropriate folder as soon as I see I have an email I have a work and a personal email and combined have 3 unread, which will be sorted by the end of the day!

I cannot fathom having 40000 unread emails! Surely you would miss something important?

Can't bear having unread emails, stresses me out. I check emails several times a day, and instantly delete ones I don't even want to bother opening (swipe left). Occasionally I'll have an unsubscribe cull.

You're all giving me anxiety with these declarations grinconfused do none of you find things chaotic when it comes to managing life? I wouldn't be able to sleep with more than 3 unread mails

I focus my time on things that are productive. I read email that’s important. I don’t waste time deleting stuff I don’t need.

@cantfindname LOL strangely enough I've managed to survive 57 years without a penis extension (it's OK, I know how to make them longer ;) ) but yes, I could be missing out from those nice people in the Nigerian Royal Family who want to give me a million dollars! I do get an awful lot of people who can't spell or punctuate but feel they could somehow improve my website.

Unsubscribe from all marketing/notification emails that you don't need.

Oh and you can set up rules in your inbox to send them into particular folders and so on, that helps to organise them.

This makes me itch!

You must all send me your email addresses and passwords immediately so I can go in and organise your messages! How on earth do you function with such chaos...

How can having over 10,000 emails not send you all in a tither?

I think I need to go and lie down and work out how I can single handily get you all to delete them

I have 0 unread. I operate "inbox zero" for personal and work; the only things that ever sit in my inbox are emails that I need to respond to but haven't had time yet.

For work: I read, action, then file into relevant folder in archive.

For personal: if spam, report. If from random company, unsubscribe. Anything else, action and archive.

Genuine question, how do you end up with so many emails? Do you subscribe to hundreds of companies & then just ignore their emails . No one sends me any but I rarely shop or order anything on line.

I don’t get this. I really don’t. Every time I open my email inbox I just delete things I don’t want to read. Why wouldn’t you? Takes seconds.

Also, how do you know when you’ve got a new email which might be important?

i have thousands per day

im a comper and i do hundreds of competitions per week online and use 4 different email addresses per comp,some of the comps are email and name only so i have to scan through each one on the off chance ive won 99%of the time they are spam but the odd ocasion ive acually won somthing

I have 31610 unread emails... 93 unread texts (I read them as they flag up and a lot are delivery notifications). I really need to mass unread!
