I don't mind 'tummy', but was surprised to see it used in a recent letter from the local hospital explaining what would happen at an ultrasound.

IvanaPee · 23/05/2019 19:01

Pute??

I hate “brew”. “Shall we have a brew?” Shudder!

3luckystars · 23/05/2019 19:01

Hobby.

It's so embarrassing.

Parkmama · 23/05/2019 19:02

Freya (obviously it's a name) makes me cringe massively. Dreadful

Passed away - awful, avoidant, twee and actually symptomatic of our awful relationship with death in the UK

rosamacrose · 23/05/2019 19:06

Two today's. Do feel like I've crammed 2 into 1 today. Tired 🤕

goingonabearhunt1 · 23/05/2019 19:10

I don't actually mind most of these that much. Not a fan of wanky hipster words such as "artisanal" "curated" and "handcrafted" though. Also get annoyed with certain ovrrdone word phrases/concepts such as "agile".
As far as slang goes I don't like "pressie".

Oh and "e-meet" when you're introduced to someone over email when working.

"Nice to e-meet you"

I don't know why it makes me say uuuugh.

greenelephantscarf · 23/05/2019 19:21

'of' instead of 'have'

womanvsfood · 23/05/2019 19:21

Currently 'job role'. Everyone suddenly seems to be saying it and I don't get it. It feels really affected and to my mind one of the words will always be superfluous, whatever the sentence is.

mildshock · 23/05/2019 19:22

Boyfriend - it made me feel like a teenager, so I used partner instead. Apparently that should only be used when couples are at least living together Grin I still use partner instead of fiancé now we are engaged, live together, and have 2 children.
