Also, Australian shortenings, especially used by people who aren't Australian. I used to know a woman who had lived there for six months five years previously and she did it all the time. So a barbecue was a "barbo", a sandwich was a "sanbo", even her kids would have "no" tacked onto the ends of shortened versions of their names. It was excruciating. We'd meet up for coffee and she'd be bo-ing around all over the shop like a half wit.

That is, "bo" tacked onto their names, not "no". So her daughter's called Millie, so she refers to her as "Mill-bo" sort of thing.
