Moist
Panties
Breests - instead of breast (it's a Scottish word my mum still uses)

Mimithemouse · 23/05/2019 17:02

Really hate 'vibe' and 'lube'

Birdshitbridgegotme · 23/05/2019 17:02

Femalebornandbreed · 23/05/2019 17:06

Moist.

Chinks123 · 23/05/2019 17:07

Bro and sis
I’m expecting a baby boy soon and I’m shunning all clothes that say “little bro” on..no idea why but I can’t stand it.

KindnessCrusader · 23/05/2019 17:07

'Pop' and 'popping'.
'I'll just pop in.'
'Just popping this here.'
Just why?! It sets my teeth on edge!

KindnessCrusader · 23/05/2019 17:08

Oh, and supper used instead of dinner, that makes me die a little inside.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 23/05/2019 17:10

I am on the very first post in this thread and I am betting that someone will be further down with "moist" acting like they are the first, most original person in the world to ever find that word unappealing.

Tbh, I love a slice of moist cake so I think it's a great word!

WoollyMummoth · 23/05/2019 17:11

I can’t abide ‘happy holidays’ I want to be wished a merry Christmas and a happy new year. If you utter ‘cool yule’ I’ll deck you🎅🏻

Two words I loathe with equal measure are

Sanpro and Vulva
Only on MN can typed words on a screen be so loaded with pomposity.

ByeGermsByeWorries · 23/05/2019 17:14

Panties
Spuff/ Spaff 🤢
Clusterfeeding
Shortening of words ie toms, bics, choc, pots
Holibobs
Boob. As in "boob to sleep"

PrincessConsuelaBananahamm0ck · 23/05/2019 17:15

There are quite a few words I hate and will actively avoid saying if I can help it. Here are some of them:

Milk
Sick
Lipstick
Pamper
Breast
Boyfriend
Hubby

There's probably more. I also hate how the names 'Barbara' and 'Pamela' sound. Nothing personal to anyone called Barbara or Pamela, I'm sure you're lovely.

I think I'm weird for having words I hate, but obviously I'm not the only one!

EngagedAgain · 23/05/2019 17:16

MelBurke, re. Kinky! Yes, but it's one of those words that suits the subject matter, don't you think?

agirlhasnonameX · 23/05/2019 17:17

Breests - instead of breast (it's a Scottish word my mum still uses)
Mine too. Hate it.

Plus- Twee, scalp, turd 🤢 preggers, hubby and triggered when used to express annoyance at something.

quizqueen · 23/05/2019 17:20

TheLoneWolfDies · 23/05/2019 17:21

BuzzShitbagBobbly What are you even talking about? Is this a competition? Would you like a medal?

aprilshowers12 · 23/05/2019 17:23

Plating up
I’m not actually sure what I say myself if I do say anything, maybe ‘ serving dinner’. But ffs anything but plating up
