Baffles me too. I'm sure they know the meaning of both words perfectly well - it's just that, when they come to write it down, they just don't know which one to chose

I also HATE 'I've a lot to do' 'have you any bread?' Yes alright I know it's grammatically correct but it gets on my nerves
