Snog & belly.

Foul words.

Deadlysinner · 23/05/2019 23:13

Tasty. I absolutely hate it! It sounds so horrible but my mum uses it all the time!

Poppy43 · 23/05/2019 23:30

Irritating as hell

Guff

As in general rubbish or breaking wind - or both senses in general?

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/05/2019 23:43

Turd. Makes me feel sick. Even typing it grossed me out. Luckily it's not common parlance in Ireland so I don't have to hear it too often.

Am I allowed to proffer the genuine question that everybody is wondering....?

EATERY. As used by the Mail Online. No in the UK it's a restaurant. Eatery is not an actual word. It's making a non-existent noun out of a verb which is even worse than making a non-existent verb out of a noun.

Every time I hear somebody refer to Shaun Escoffery, I always immediately think of a joint-venture business where you have a severe haircut and then a lovely meal afterwards Grin

PurpleFlower1983 · 23/05/2019 23:49

Mama or Momma - when used by one mother to describe another (it’s fine when used be a child!) e.g. “You got this mama!”

Broken11Girl · 23/05/2019 23:52

Pop.

Hubby/hubster
Bubba/bubs
Little man
Crimbo/crimbles
Holibobs

You can probably guess I'm the sort of person who prefers actual words, eg baby, husband, Christmas, holiday.

Makes me want to smack them in the gob to see if it's how they truly feel!
